Sunday afternoon saw Real Madrid produce the kind of performance their fans have been craving as Los Blancos swept aside Deportivo La Coruna 7-1 at the Bernabeu to record their biggest win of the season.
The Madrid players have spoken repeatedly about building a run of successive wins and Wednesday night is a chance for them to extend the run to three consecutive victories, as well as booking their place in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.
Leganes, meanwhile, enjoyed an excellent comeback at Alaves on Sunday as they scored a pair of late goals to secure a 2-2 draw when they had been trailing for the majority of the game.
Match odds
Leganes' only other visit to the Bernabeu ended in a 3-0 league defeat last season, and as such they are offered at a chunky 20/1 (21.00) for the win.

Madrid can be backed at 1/8 (1.12) and a draw, which would also see the hosts progress, is priced at 13/2 (7.50).
Team news
Sunday saw Karim Benzema play his first game of the year when he came on as a second half substitute, and Zinedine Zidane may chose to give him some minutes from the start to help his recovery from a hamstring problem.
Sergio Ramos is also yet to feature this year but he is pushing for a return, although Madrid are likely to stick with a similar eleven from the first leg which included the likes of Kiko Casilla, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente and Marco Asensio.
For the visitors, first choice centre-back Mauro Dos Santos is likely to still be missing through injury.
Visitors likely to remain defensive

Despite trailing by a goal to nil from the first leg, Leganes' gameplan is not likely to change dramatically at the Bernabeu; Asier Garitano's men will be happy to try and keep the score at 0-0 until late on, when they can try and go for the goal which would force extra time.
In the Copa del Rey, Real Madrid's second string side have not been overly convincing, especially at home where they have drawn 2-2 against lower league opposition in each of the last two rounds.
Despite scoring seven at the weekend, Real Madrid have lacked a clinical edge in front of goal this season and the starting eleven on Wednesday is very likely to be much-changed from the one that demolished Deportivo.
Tips and predictions
Backing a low-scoring game makes sense and the price of 8/11 (1.73) for under 3.5 goals in the match looks appealing, given Leganes' defensive style and Real Madrid's hitherto slightly underwhelming performances at home in the Copa del Rey.
