Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid Betting Tips: Can Griezmann continue his Bernabeu scoring run?

Atletico Madrid head to the Bernabeu this weekend where they have managed to score in each of their last five league visits.

Those matches have brought three wins for Los Rojiblancos and two draws, and with Real Madrid conceding in four of their last five league games, the visitors will feel they can score again.

The main goal threat for Diego Simeone's side should as ever be Antoine Griezmann and the Frenchman has enjoyed his recent trips to Real Madrid's stadium.

Griezmann has scored at the Bernabeu in each of the last three seasons, as well as netting there during his time with Real Sociedad. William Hill offer him at 7/5 (2.40) to net at any time, understandably the shortest priced player for the visitors.

Diego Costa meanwhile scored two goals as Atleti beat Los Blancos in the UEFA Super Cup in August and he is offered at 21/10 (3.10) to score his first league goal since February. Shortest priced for the hosts is Gareth Bale at 5/4 (2.20) ahead of Karim Benzema at 8/5 (2.60) and Marco Asensio at 23/10 (3.30).

Better call Saul

Saul Niguez is offered at 4/1 (5.00) and the Spain international midfielder has shown that he is a player who regularly finds the back of the net in big games.

The 23-year-old notched a spectacular goal in the Super Cup and followed that up with two goals for Spain in the recent international break. He is also available at 13/2 (7.50) to score Atletico Madrid's first goal of the game and looks like a strong option for a value bet.

Tips and predictions

While the hosts are naturally favourites, Atleti's scoring record against their neighbours means there is perhaps better value in backing one of their players to net.

The odds quoted for Saul Niguez are extremely tempting, while Griezmann has shown himself to be a good anytime scorer bet in this fixture.

For longer odds, the price of 11/1 (12.00) for Sergio Ramos to score, Real Madrid to win and both teams to score could be of interest, with Ramos taking penalties now for the European champions.
