In two games Payet has created a whopping 14 chances for his team-mates, even though Olivier Giroud is the only man to have converted one of them.
To put Payet’s incredible tournament into perspective, Zidane created 15 chances throughout the entire 2004 as France were knocked out in the quarter-finals by surprise winners Greece.
