Martin Skrtel has completed a move to Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir, just hours after mutually terminating his contract with Atalanta.

The former Liverpool defender left the Italian side after just 24 days at the club, having reportedly fallen out with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

Fabri joins Mallorca on loan


Fulham goalkeeper Fabri has joined newly-promoted Spanish side Mallorca on loan for the rest of the season.

Leonardo confirms PSG completed transfer business


Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has confirmed the club will be making no more deals this window.

PSG sign Icardi on loan


Inter striker Mauro Icardi has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a loan for the duration of the 2019-20 season.

The loan reportedly includes an option for PSG to buy the 26-year-old Icardi for €65 million (£59m/$71m). 

This season, PSG reportedly will pay Icardi €8m, with a €2m bonus should they activate the purchase option in the deal. 

Inter also extended Icardi's contract through 2022, should PSG not opt to make the loan permanent.

Okaka leaves Watford for Udinese return


Stefano Okaka has left Watford to rejoin Udinese on a permanent deal, the clubs have announced.

The 30-year-old Okaka returns to Serie A on a contract through 2022, having spent last season there on loan. 

Royal Antwerp sign Defour


Former Burnley midfielder Steven Defour has confirmed he has signed with Royal Antwerp.

Defour had been let out of his contract with the Clarets in order to help facilitate a move to the Belgian side.

Brescia sign Matri


Brescia have confirmed the signing of veteran striker Alessandro Matri from Sassuolo on a season-long loan.

However, Brescia also have an obligation to buy the 34-year-old Matri, who will pair with old strike partner Mario Balotelli.

Galatasaray acquire Lemina


Galatasaray have signed Mario Lemina on a one-year loan from Southampton, the clubs have announced.

The Turkish club will pay a fee this season, reportedly of €1 million, with a €16m (£14.5/$17.5m) option to make the move permanent. 

Palacios turned down Beckham's Inter Miami


River Plate star Exequiel Palacios has turned down David Beckham's Inter Miami side, despite a $20 million (£16.6m) offer, reports TyCSports.

Miami start play in January 2020, and were exploring Palacios, with River Plate willing to sell their star.

But Palacios wants a European move and turned Miami down. 

Chicharito frustrates MLS, Liga MX teams once again


Javier Hernandez is right where he wants to be, and that is with Sevilla. Not in MLS. Not in Mexico. In Spain.

Mexico's all-time leading scorer moved to the Liga club from West Ham in a move announced on Monday, giving Julen Lopetegui's team an attacking option it sorely lacked and getting the striker out of a West Ham system that never seemed to suit his skills.

It is even more remarkable when considering the fact that not only has he taken a pay cut from his Premier League wages, according to Sevilla sporting director Monchi, but also has turned down the potential riches he could make were he to join a team in Major League Soccer or return to his native country and play in Liga MX.

Fleetwood have signed Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne on loan for the rest of the season.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has joined the League One side after spending last season on loan at Hearts and then Sunderland.

Borthwick-Jackson joins Tranmere on loan


Man Utd defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has joined Tranmere Rovers on a season-long loan deal.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan in League One with Scunthorpe United, and last played for the Premier League side in May 2016.

Juventus sign Cagliari striker Song


Juventus have announced the signature of 20-year-old North Korean striker Han Kwang Song from Cagliari.

Ross County sign Celtic youngster Henderson


Ross County have signed Celtic midfielder Ewan Henderson on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old is the younger brother of former Celtic and current Hellas Verona midfielder Liam, and is in search of regular first team football having made just six appearances last season.

Novakovich leaves for Frosinone


Reading have confirmed the departure of Andrija Novakovich, who has left on a permanent transfer to Italian side Frosinone.

Celtic agree Taylor fee


Celtic have agreed a deal for Kilmarnock defender Greg Taylor, according to BBC Sport.

Sunderland and Nuremburg had reportedly also made bids for the 21-year-old Scotland international.

Rebic joins Milan


Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Ante Rebic has joined AC Milan on a two-year loan, with the Serie A side having the option to make the move permanent at the end of that agreement.

It is expected Andre Silva will be headed the other way, joining Eintracht.

Rangers agree £7m Kent fee


Rangers have agreed a £7 million ($8.4m) fee for Liverpool's Ryan Kent, reports Sky Sports.

Kent must still agree personal terms with Rangers as well as pass a medical before the deal becomes official. 

Shakhtar confirm Konoplyanka


Shakhtar have confirmed Yevhen Konoplyanka has joined the club from Schalke.

The 29-year-old midfielder has joined the club on a three-year contract, with Shakhtar reportedly beating out Besiktas and Fenerbache for his services.

Chicharito completes €8m Sevilla move


Javier Hernandez has completed a permanent €8 million (£7m/$9m) switch to Sevilla from West Ham on Monday.

The Mexico striker has signed a three-year contract at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, bringing to an end his two-and-a-half season stay in east London.

Vertonghen no closer to new Spurs deal


Jan Vertonghen has admitted that he is no closer to signing a new contract at Spurs despite making his return to the pitch in the North London Derby.

The 32-year-old was granted his first senior appearance of the 2019-20 campaign against the Gunners, taking in the full 90 minutes of a 2-2 draw at Emirates Stadium at the weekend .

Vertonghen has only one year remaining on his existing deal at Tottenham, with his recent absence fueling speculation over his future.

Rafinha signs extension, joins Celta on loan


Barcelona have confirmed Rafinha has signed an extension on his current contract and will join Celta de Vigo on a season-long loan.

The midfielder has extended his deal by one year to 2020-21, and joins Celta for no up front loan fee aside from fully taking on his salary, though Barca could recoup €1.5 million in incentives. 

Spurs midfielder heads to Portugal


Tottenham have agreed the permanent sale of midfielder Marcus Edwards to Portuguese club Vitoria. 

The 20-year-old Edwards has reportedly signed a four-year contract with a €15 million (£13.6m/$16.5m) release clause included.

Roma confirm Schick to Leipzig


Roma have confirmed Patrik Schick will join Bundesliga club RB Leipzig on a season-long loan.

The Serie A side will receive a loan fee of €3.5 million with an extra €500K possible in incentives.

Leipzig will have the option to purchase Schick €29m (£26.4m/$31.8m) should they qualify for the 2020-21 Champions League

PSG wanted €300m for Neymar


The Ligue 1 club believed Barca could not meet their demands

Paris Saint-Germain wanted an offer of around €300 million (£273m/$328m) for Neymar, reports La Parisien

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi called the locker room to assure them Neymar was unlikely leave, saying that while he would be permitted to depart, it would only be for a massive offer, exceeding what the club paid for him.

Al-Khelaifi was confident Barcelona did not have the financial means to meet his demands, and thus would keep the Brazil star in Paris for this season.

Ayite joins Genclerbirligi


Fulham have announced attacker Floyd Ayite has jointed Turkish club Genclerbirligi on a permanent deal.

The 30-year-old departs for the Super Lig side after three seasons with the Championship club.

Oteh joins Bradford City


Queens Park Rangers striker Aramide Oteh has joined League Two side Bradford City on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old Oteh has previously featured at Walsall.

Silva to Eintracht held up


Andre Silva's move to Eintracht Frankfurt has been held up by issues which Milan are attempting to quickly resolve, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

Ante Rebic, who is headed to Milan in a switch, has no problems on his end and both teams are ready to sign off on that aspect of the deal.

However, Milan are confident they will be able to solve the issues facing Silva before the close of the transfer window. 

Pedro joins Fiorentina


Fiorentina have announced the capture of Pedro Guilherme Abreu dos Santos from Brazilian club Fluminense.

The 22-year-old Brazilian forward will join for a reported €14 million (£12.7m/$15.4m).

Anderlecht trying to sign Chelsea's Batshuayi


Anderlecht want to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi before the transfer deadline, according to France Football.

The Belgian club have turned their attention to the 25-year-old after missing out on Galatasaray's Mbaye Diagne, who has joined Club Brugge on loan.

Batshuayi has only appeared once for Chelsea at the start of the 2019-20 season.


Sevilla's Kjaer signs for Atalanta on loan


Sevilla centre-back Simon Kjer has joined Atalanta on a season-long loan deal.

The 30-year-old returns to Italy after previous spells with Roma and Palermo earlier in his career and could be in line for his debut at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia after the international break.

Kjaer had featured in all three of Sevilla's matches at the start of the 2019-20 season.

De Bock joins Sunderland on loan


Begovic set for Cherries exit


Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is close to agreeing a loan move to Azerbaijani side Qarabag, according to The Athletic.

The deal would be a six-month loan until January, with no option to buy.

Begovic has slipped behind Aaron Ramsdale and Mark Travers at the Vitality Stadium and is keen to move in search of first-team football.

Juve reject PSG defender bid


Mattia De Sciglio will not be leaving Juventus after the Italian club rejected a bid from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Romeo Agresti.

The Ligue 1 champions had expressed an interest in bringing De Sciglio to Paris before the deadline but Juve told them he was not for sale.

Juve to wait on Boateng deal


Juventus have agreed a loan deal with Bayern Munich for Jerome Boateng but will wait until right up to the deadline before comfirming the move, reports Tuttosport.

The Serie A champions are considering bolstering their defence following a serious injury to captain Giorgio Chiellini and identifed Boateng as a prime target. 

Juve boss Maurizio Sarri had indicated he is happy with his current squad but the club are keeping their options open for as long as possible.

Bernardeschi and Rakitic swap deal off


Barcelona and Juventus have abandoned a proposed swap deal involving Federico Bernardeschi and Ivan Rakitic, reports Romeo Agresti.

The talks collapsed as the two clubs were too far apart in the valuation of each player.

Frimpong set to leave City for Celtic


Goal's Manchester City correspondent Jonathan Smith reports that 18-year-old midfielder Jeremie Frimpong is set to join Scottish champions Celtic on a permanent deal.

Kenedy and Rahman set for loan moves


Chelsea outcasts Kenedy and Baba Rahman are both set to secure loan moves to La Liga as they close in on transfers to Getafe and Real Mallorca respectively.

Rangers close to Kent deal


Rangers are close to completing a permanent deal for Liverpool forward Ryan Kent, reports Jim White.

The Scottish side are ready to pay around £7 million ($8.4m) for the 22-year-old, who will undergo a medical once the fee is agreed.

Kent made 43 appearances for Rangers while on loan at Ibrox last season.

Gerrard denies Rangers interest in Foden


Steven Gerrard says Rangers have no interest in a loan deal for Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden and doubts Pep Guardiola would let him leave anyway.

Andone heading to Galatasaray


Galatasaray are set to sign Brighton forward Florin Andone on a season-long loan, report The Athletic.

Andone has left Romania's training camp to fly to Istanbul and undergo a medical ahead of the move.

Galatasaray will pay Andone's wages for the duration of the loan, with Brighton retaining an option to recall the 26-year-old in January.

Lovren to stay at Liverpool amid Serie A links


Dejan Lovren will remain at Liverpool for the 2019-20 season, despite interest from Italian giants Roma and Milan - according to Sky Sports.

Juventus have also been considering a swoop for the Croatian, but with only three other centre-backs on Liverpool's books, Jurgen Klopp is unwilling to green-light his departure.

Lovren, who has 170 appearances under his belt for the Reds to date, has yet to play for the club this season.

Napoli sign ex-Tottenham striker Llorente


Napoli have signed veteran Spanish striker Fernando Llorente on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old was a free agent after leaving Tottenham at the end of last season and returns to Italy four years after leaving Serie A champions Juventus.

"Benvenuto Fernando," said Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis when announcing the move on Twitter.

PSG's Jese set to join Celta Vigo


Paris Saint Germain forward Jese Rodriguez is on the verge of a move Celta Vigo, according to L'Equipe.

The 26-year-old still has two years left to run on his contract at Parc des Princes, but he is not in Thomas Tuchel's plans for the 2019-20 season.

Jese made his first appearance of the new campaign as a substitute during PSG's 2-0 win over Metz on Friday.

Mkhitaryan set for Roma move


Arsenal are in talks with Roma over a loan move for midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan as the European transfer window prepares to close.

Mkhitaryan has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium this season following the arrivals of Nicolas Pepe and Dani Ceballos.

Reiss Nelson's return from his loan spell at Hoffenheim and the emergence of Joe Willock have created further competition in attacking midfield roles, and as such Mkhitaryan faces watching much of the campaign from the Emirates Stadium sidelines.

The 22-year-old Brazilian will undergo a medical before signing a five-year deal with La Viola.

Manchester City hope beat rivals Manchester United to the signing of Bodo/Glimt youngster Hakon Evjen in January, according to the Mail.

The 19-year-old has scored nine goals and contributed a further four assists in his first season of senior football.

U.S. U-23 Soto unlikely to leave Hannover


U.S. U-23 midfielder Sebastian Soto is unlikely to leave Hannover before the end of the window, according to ESPN.

Soto has been linked with moves to Club Brugge and Benfica in recent weeks.

However, Hannover have demanded a seven-figure transfer fee for the midfielder, despite the fact that Soto's contract expires at the end of the season.

Inter boss Antonio Conte says he expects a "peaceful" close to the transfer window with no arrivals or departures.

The manager's comments come despite frequent reports that Mauro Icardi is set to depart the club in the coming hours.
