    Real Madrid & Ramos: The state of play

    Sergio Ramos has told Real Madrid that he is considering leaving this summer, Goal can confirm.

    The defender recently held a meeting with president Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane to express his uncertainty about his future.

    His tense relationship with Perez and his looming contract negotiations seem to be the key factors Madrid need to deal with if they are to ensure he stays.

    Barcelona want Martinez to replace Valverde

    Belgium manager Roberto Martinez is Barcelona's top candidate to replace Ernesto Valverde, RAC1 reports.

    Although Barca won the domestic double this season, their failure in the Champions League put Valverde's job at risk, though he still has the support of his players and president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

    Should the club decide to relieve Valverde of his duties in the near future, however, they will turn to former Everton boss Martinez to replace him.

    Bayern & Ajax target rejects Man City contract offer

    Teenage striker Noah Ohio has rejected a contract offer from Manchester City amid interest from across Europe.

    Sky Sports claims the 16-year-old snubbed an offer of a three-year deal from City and wants to advance his career elsewhere.

    Bayern Munich, Lyon, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund are said to be after him, but it is RB Leipzig who are leading the race.

    Felipe leaves Porto ahead of expected Atletico move

    Brazilian defender Felipe has confirmed he will leave Porto this summer.

    The 30-year-old has spent three years with the Portuguese outfit but bid farewell to the club's fans with an Instagram post.

    He looks set to join Atletico Madrid to replace Diego Godin in the back line.

    Barcelona ready to sell Malcom

    Barcelona have decided to sell Brazilian winger Malcom this summer, Sport reports.

    The 22-year-old moved to Camp Nou last year from Bordeaux after the Catalan side swooped in to persuade him to turn his back on a move to Roma. 

    After just 24 games, however, Barca are ready to let him go and will put him on the market this summer. Only a change of coach could save his Blaugrana career, but Ernesto Valverde is expected to stay for the time being.

    Lampard sets up Derby talks amid Chelsea speculation

    Derby County boss Frank Lampard has distanced himself from speculation linking him with a return to Chelsea, but admits his future is up for discussion following his club’s play-off final defeat to Aston Villa.

    "I'm not interested in the speculation," he said. "What is likely is I'll speak to Mel Morris, the owner, in the next few days when the dust settles and then we'll see how it goes.

    Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt has revealed he will make a choice between signing for Manchester United or Barcelona based on which club is equipt to develop him into a better player.

    In an interview in The Express, the 19-year-old said: “I look at what I think is the best for my career, where I can develop the best, where I can make the most playing minutes. On that I base my choice.”

    Benkovic backed for Celtic return

    Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has suggested Filip Benkovic could head back to Celtic on loan in the summer.

    In a report in the The Scottish Sun, the defender said: “I wouldn’t rule out coming back, you never know where life will take you. I don’t know what will happen but I really enjoyed my time at Celtic."

    Bin Zayed Group reveal agreement on Newcastle takeover

    Mike Ashley's days as Newcastle United owner appear to be coming to an end, as Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nahyan edges towards a takeover at St. James' Park.

    Reports of talks have now been confirmed by Bin Zayed Group managing director, Midhat Kidwai, who released a statement saying they are working closely with Ashley “to complete the transaction at the earliest opportunity”.

    Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has told Sergio Ramos not to expect an easy exit to the Chinese Super League, according to AS.

    Perez is said to have reacted furiously folllowing suggestions that Ramos could walk away "easily" after 14 seasons with the club.

    Ramos reportedly wants a free transfer to China following a trophyless season at the Bernabeu Stadium.

    Man City target Guerreiro considering Dortmund exit

    Raphael Guerreiro is considering leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer amid reports of interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, Bild reports.

    Guerreiro's contract runs until 2020 and the Bundesliga side have been trying to convince him to sign a new deal, but talks have been stalled for some time.

    With interest from some of Europe's richest teams, Dortmund may have to sell the 25-year-old now or lose him for free next year.

    Leonardo leaves AC Milan

    Leonardo has left his role as sporting director at AC Milan, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio says.

    The Brazilian will submit his resignation tomorrow because of a difference of opinion with the club's executive director Ivan Gazidis.

    Milan will turn to Lille director Luis Campos to help them with transfers in the interim, allowing him to remain at the French club, while the Serie A giants consider asking Paolo Maldini to step in as the permanent replacement.

    Newcastle looks set to sign Loris Benito from Young Boys, according to The Sun.

    The Young Boys left-back has been on the Magpies' shortlist for some time, though Watford and Burnley are also said to be interested.
