Massimiliano Allegri is Inter's favourite candidate to replace Antonio Conte at the helm, Calciomercatoweb reports.

The Nerazzurri boss is under pressure amid his side's recent dip in form and the former Juventus boss is seen as a good replacement.

PSV target Barcelona midfielder


PSV hope to lure Riqui Puig to Eindhoven with the promise of first team football, according to reports.

The 21-year-old has made just two appearances in La Liga and the Champions League this season.

He is expected to look for a new club in the next transfer window and teaming up with World Cup winner Mario Gotze and ex-Bayer Leverkusen boss Roger Schmidt could convince him to give the Eredivisie a try.

Real Madrid join Barca & Inter in Nunez race


Benfica star Darwin Nunez looks set to move on to bigger and better things soon enough.

The 21-year-old Uruguay international has been on fire for the Portuguese giants this season.

A Bola reports that Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter are all tracking the striker, who has five years left on his contract with Benfica.

Guardiola's assistant to make MLS switch?


Manchester City assistant coach Rodolfo Borrell is in talks with DC United, The Athletic reports.

The 49-year-old has been backup to Pep Guardiola since 2016, but could be set for a head coach role.

The MLS side have had several conversations with Borrell about taking over the first team and it is said that he wants the job.

Marotta expecting Eriksen to seek exit


Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta is expecting Christian Eriksen to seek an exit in 2021.

Eriksen only joined from Tottenham in January but has endured a torrid time at San Siro, failing to feature regularly under Antonio Conte. 

The 28-year-old has only contributed four goals and three assists to the Nerazzurri's cause in his first 34 appearances.

Atletico to search for striker in January


Atletico Madrid are looking to add a striker in the January transfer window, according to AS.

Diego Costa is currently out with a blood clot in his right leg, leaving veteran Luis Suarez as the club's main striker option.

But Atletico are aware that the veteran Suarez will need to be spelled, which could require investment in January.

Diego Simeone wanted Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler at Atletico Madrid last year, reports AS.

The Ateltico boss believes Soler fits his style of play perfectly and was keen on a move for the 23-year-old.

Soler, however, signed a contract extension last December that will keep him at Valencia until June 2023.

Man City eye Lautaro move


The striker is demanding a raise in order to stay at Inter

Manchester City are eying a move for Inter star Lautaro Martinez, reports the Mirror.

City are keen to bring in the Argentine as a replacement for Sergio Aguero, whose contract is set to expire at season's end. 

Inter are aiming to keep hold of Martinez, who is demanding a five-year deal worth £150,000 per week to stay at San Siro.

Ex-Barca boss Setien wanted by Granada


Quique Setien could be on his way back into the management.

The former Barcelona boss is being considered by Granada, who are consdering getting rid of current coach Diego Martinez, says TodoFichajes.

Di Maria to join Inter?


The likelihood of Angel Di Maria leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the near future is increasing day by day.

The Argentina international's contract expires at the end of the season and he does not believe he is getting a fair chance in the team under Thomas Tuchel.

An agreement over a new contract looks impossible and reports Inter are ready to swoop in with an offer to bring him to Serie A.

Southampton target Simakan flattered by AC Milan interest


Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan says he is flattered by news that AC Milan are interested in signing him.

The 20-year-old has been targeted by Southampton, but Milan director Paolo Maldini has revealed that they have been in talks with his agent.

"It is quite flattering," the defender told Telefoot when asked about the Rossoneri's interest. 

"It's nice of him anyway, because we know that Maldini has had a great career, we can say that he is the best defender in history."

Benfica secure €7m Lucas Verissimo signing


Benfica are on the verge of completing the signing of Lucas Verissimo from Santos, TodoFicajes reports.

The Portuguese giants have been in negotiations with the Brazilan side for some time and were expected to wait until early-2021 to bring him to the Primeira Liga.

But Santos have accepted an offer that will see the 25-year-old centre-back land in Lisbon in December. The overall cost of the deal will be around €7 million (£6m/$8m).

Juventus join Man Utd in race for Icelandic teen


Isak Bergmann Johannesson has caught the attention of several top teams in Europe recently.

The 17-year-old midfielder and winger has impressed in Sweden with Norrkoping, registering three goals and nine assists this season.

Manchester United have already been tipped to sign him, but Calciomercato reports Juventus are also keeping track of him and offers are expected to come flooding in when the January transfer window opens.

Real Madrid are yet to put contract offers to Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez despite both men being due to become free agents in 2021, according to Marca.

Nacho is another who has not been approached by the Blancos, although his current deal is due to run until 2022.

Spurs told Khedira could be a Ronaldo or Ibrahimovic-type signing


Tottenham should be looking to snap up Sami Khedira when he hits free agency as the World Cup winner could prove to be a Cristiano Ronaldo or Zlatan Ibrahimovic-type signing, says Paul Robinson.

The former Spurs goalkeeper has told Football Insider: "Look at the likes of Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic, players can play on a lot longer than they used to."

The 22-year-old defender is said to have had a three-year deal put to him, but he is yet to sign and could become a free agent in the summer of 2021.

Coutinho does not interest Juve at this stage, however, given the plethora of midfield options Andrea Pirlo already has at his disposal.

The Blues were very interested in the Uruguyan's services, but ultimately refused to pay his release clause.

Manchester City were also linked with Gimenez, who is contracted to remain on Atletico's books until 2023.

United prioritising Wan-Bissaka cover


Manchester United will prioritise signing defensive cover for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the January transfer window - according to ESPN.

The Red Devils want to bring in someone who can provide competition for the 23-year-old right-back, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wary of his lack of options down that flank.

United are concerned that Wan Bissaka does not offer enough of an attacking threat, and hope to sign a different option in the winter window.

Arsenal outcast Saliba welcome back at Saint Etienne - Debuchy


William Saliba has been encouraged to return to France by Mathieu Debuchy, who says the Arsenal outcast would be welcome back at Saint Etienne this winter.

Saliba signed for Arsenal from Saint Etienne in a £27 million ($36m) deal in July 2019, and subsequently returned to Geoffroy Stadium on loan for a final season.

The 19-year-old finally joined up with his new team-mates at the Emirates Stadium this summer, but has since failed to force his way into Mikel Arteta's senior squad.

Milan interested in Scamacca


Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca is the subject of interest from Milan - according to Calcio Mercato.

The Rossoneri are looking at the 21-year-old, who is currently on loan at Genoa, as a potential long-term replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Scamacca has scored twice in five Serie A appearances for Genoa at the start of the 2020-21 campaign.

Chelsea and Manchester City-linked left-back Nicolas Tagliafico is set to sign a new deal at Ajax - according to De Telegraaf.

However, Ajax acknowledge the fact Tagliafico could still leave at the end of the season if a suitable offer is forthcoming.

Bettinelli attracting Premier League admirers


Marcus Bettinelli is attracting plenty of admirers from the Premier League after his strong start to the season at Middlesbrough - according to The Mail.

The 28-year-old is taking in a season-long loan spell at the Riverside from Fulham, and has seven Championship clean sheets to his name already - the best record in the division.

A number of Premier League team's are keeping track on Bettinelli's progress ahead of the January transfer window.

Juventus have made contact with Liverpool target Ozan Kabak - as The Sun reports.

The Reds have been tipped to bring in the 20-year-old in January as Jurgen Klopp seeks cover for injured duo Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

However, Milan have already approached Kabak's agent over a possible deal in the winter window, with Schalke ready to sell the defender for around £20 million ($27m).

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has addressed links with the Manchester United hot seat ahead of a Premier League clash against the Red Devils this weekend.
