Kosovo vs England Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

England will be looking to round off their Euro 2020 qualification campaign with a win when they travel to Pristina to take on Kosovo on Sunday.

Gareth Southgate’s men secured their place in next summer’s championships by thrashing Montenegro 7-0 victory on Thursday, their sixth win in seven Group A games.

Kosovo vs England latest odds

Having run out 5-3 winners at Wembley in an entertaining reverse encounter, they are 3/5 (1.60) favourites with 888Sport to finish on a high with another victory.

The Dardanians saw their own chances of automatic qualification come to an end with Thursday’s 2-1 defeat in the Czech Republic, but are priced at 17/4 (5.25) to bounce back by pulling off a memorable win, or 13/4 (4.25) to earn a creditable draw.

Kosovo vs England team news

Raheem Sterling will return to the fold after being omitted from the Montenegro squad for disciplinary reasons, while Jordan Henderson is also available once again following suspension.

Top scorer Vedat Muriqi was forced to withdraw from the home squad due to an ankle injury, leaving Sheffield Wednesday’s Atdhe Nuhiu to lead the line as he did against the Czech Republic.

Kosovo vs England preview

While Sterling’s absence from the line-up dominated the pre-match build-up, the Manchester City star was hardly missed in the emphatic victory over Montenegro.

The Three Lions boast a wealth of attacking options and have scored at least four goals in all but one of their seven group games so far – averaging almost five per match.

It therefore seems fair to expect plenty of goalmouth action at the Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri, particularly given the eight-goal thriller these sides served up in their previous meeting.

Kosovo vs England predictions

Indeed, Bernard Challandes’ team has only failed to find the net in one of the last 19 matches, meaning odds of 41/50 (1.82) are surely too good to pass up on over 2.5 goals being scored for England’s eighth qualifier in eight.
