Carlo Ancelotti's men know they need goals, but there could be a good value anytime goalscorer bet in the ranks of the hosts at the Bernabeu

Bayern Munich head to the Bernabeu on Tuesday night knowing they must score at least twice to have any chance of progressing to the semi-finals. The Germans badly missed Robert Lewandowski in their 2-1 first leg defeat at the Allianz Arena and they now gratefully look ready to welcome the Polish forward back.

The 28-year-old once scored four goals in a single game against Real Madrid for former club Borussia Dortmund in 2013, and Betfair price him at 11/10 (2.10) to net anytime.

However, Lewandowski has never scored at the Bernabeu, and he is behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the goalscorers market. The current Ballon d'Or holder netted both goals in Munich last week and was rested for Los Blancos' weekend win at Sporting Gijon in La Liga.

His brace in Bavaria saw Ronaldo become the first player to score 100 goals in European competition and he can be backed at 3/4 (1.75) to add to his tally of four goals in this season's tournament. In last year's Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Bernabeu, Ronaldo netted a hat trick against Wolfsburg and he is priced at 20/1 (21.00) to score three or more goals against Bayern.

Elsewhere in the betting, Karim Benzema can be backed at 6/4 (2.50) to find the back of the net and the Frenchman scored the only goal of the game the last time these sides met in Spain, in 2014. Benzema is almost certain to start, but missing for Madrid is likely to be Gareth Bale, with the Wales international struggling with a calf problem.

His place is likely to be taken by either Marco Asensio or Isco with both players in excellent form. Asensio provided the assist for Ronaldo's second goal last week and can be backed at 9/2 (4.50) to get himself on the scoresheet, while Isco produced arguably his best-ever peformance in a Madrid shirt on Saturday in Gijon, netting a brace, and is offered at a tempting 3/1 (4.00) to score.

His tally of eight league goals this season equals his best ever haul in a Madrid shirt, from comparitively few minutes, and given he has barely featured in the Champions League this season, Isco will be keen to make an impact if he is given the starting berth for which the local press are clamouring.

For Bayern, meanwhile, Arturo Vidal who netted their goal in the first leg is priced at 23/10 (3.30) to score his fourth Champions League goal of the season, while the ever dangerous Arjen Robben can be backed at 7/4 (2.75) to net against his former employers.
