Real Madrid v Valencia Betting: Back Blancos to outscore opponents once more

Valencia are a side that always seem to perform well against Real Madrid and depsite this being one of the most disappointing seasons in recent history for Los Che, they managed to beat Los Blancos 2-1 at Mestalla earlier this season.

Saturday sees the east coast club visit the Bernabeu, a stadium where they boast an excellent recent record having suffered just one defeat in their last four trips.

Wednesday night saw both of these sides in action with Real Madrid producing a stunning performance to beat Deportivo La Coruna 6-2 while Valencia almost recorded a dramatic comeback in losing 3-2 at home to Real Sociedad.

Another high-scoring game looks likely on Saturday afternoon and the last eight league meetings between these two teams have produced 33 goals.

Bet365, who are live streaming the game for UK-based customers, price a home win at 1/7 (1.14) while Valencia are offered at 13/1 (14.00) and the draw is available at 9/1 (10.00)

That this fixture has been a high scoring one in recent years is thanks in large part to Valencia's goal-scoring capacity, with Los Che scoring at least twice in each of their last seven matches against Real Madrid.

Few sides have such an impressive scoring record against the 11-time European champions and the visitors are offered at a healthy looking 12/5 (3.40) to score over 1.5 goals once more.

Madrid, for their part, have been scoring freely but also conceding, and with just one clean sheet in their last 15 competitive fixtures it is unsurprising to find both teams to score offered at just 8/15 (1.53)

Instead, we will be back a home win with both teams scoring, at more tempting odds of 5/6 (1.83). This is a must-win game for Real Madrid in the title race and - despite their defeat in the Clasico last weekend - they remain extremely strong at home.

Valencia are more than capable of getting on the scoresheet, but Zinedine Zidane's men should be able to claim a win against a side with only two away wins in their last 13 matches.
