In a bid to start afresh and escape a long-running soap opera, experienced defender Walker has secured a loan transfer from Manchester City to AC Milan. He is in Italy, waiting on a work permit to be processed, but is yet to be joined by Kilner and their four children.
A source has, however, told the Daily Mail that gossip is getting out of control, with Kilner merely working to a schedule that has been set in stone for some time. The insider said: “There is no huge drama between them. The party was in the diary for ages. Annie was torn between the two but decided to stick to her original plans as she was looking forward to it.”
The friend added: “Annie is working around kids' school times and pre-planned events, and she will be there soon. The boys are all looking forward to it. She and the boys will always support Kyle and his career, and Italy is very much on the cards for them long-term, pending his contract with AC Milan being extended.”
DID YOU KNOW?
Walker is only tied to a loan agreement through to the end of the 2024-25 campaign, but there is a purchase option within that deal. The Mail’s source went on to say: “They want the marriage to work and they want to keep the family together and they think that Italy might give them that chance. They have been together since they were teenagers and don't want to let each other go but obviously the negativity [of his ex-lover Goodman] and constant reminders aren't helping that.”

WHAT NEXT?
Kilner and Walker will reportedly move into rented accommodation in Milan while home schooling their four kids. They are said to have drawn up plans for a new multi-million pound mansion in England that will become their long-term base once an exciting adventure in Italy comes to a close.
