    Antonio Silva gave away possession near the centre circle which allowed Georgia to spring a counterattack. Georges Mikautadze had acres of space to run in front and at the right time he passed it onto Kvaratskhelia who had enough pace to beat Silva and then fire a low shot past Diogo Costa in the far corner.

    It was sloppy for Silva to lose possession and he did not have the pace to recover as Kvaratskhelia galloped forward. Georgia took just 92 seconds to score which is the fastest goal Portugal have conceded in the history of the European Championship.
