WHAT HAPPENED?
The goalkeeper, who is on loan from Arsenal, danced in front of the home fans after his team's 6-0 win against Forest Green Rovers on Saturday. The supporters chanted his name to the tune of the song Tequila as they showed their appreciation for their star shot stopper.

The 22-year-old was crucial in his team's automatic promotion to English football's third tier. He has made 34 appearances in League Two and conceded 29 goals - keeping 13 clean sheets along the way. Along with Wrexham co-star Elliot Lee, he was named in the League Two Team of the Year for the 2023-24 campaign.

WHAT NEXT FOR OKONKWO?
It is not yet known where Okonkwo's future lies. His loan from Arsenal ends this summer, but he will be a free agent as his contract in north London is also set to expire. Wrexham are reportedly hopeful of signing him on a permanent basis but it is unclear if the club can afford to pay his wages.
