Antony’s fine form for Real Betis continued on Sunday night as he fired the home side in front with a powerful volleyed effort from the top of the box. However, after a few goals and star performances, he may be on his way back to his best levels that first attracted the interest of United.

The Brazil international ended up winning Player of the Match for the third successive La Liga game as Betis beat Sociedad 3-0, and he will be hoping to maintain his scoring touch in the Europa League against Gent on Thursday. He will then get the chance to show how he has upped his performances on the biggest stage against Real Madrid in La Liga. Antony may only be on loan at Betis, but should he keep excelling, he will no doubt be interested in extending his stay in Spain.
