'Let us sleep please!' - Jose Mourinho moans about noisy neighbours at Danish hotel after Fenerbahce's Europa League clash with Midtjylland

Turkish giants Fenerbahce headed out on the road for their latest Europa League fixture. An entertaining clash with Midtjylland finished 2-2, with both teams ultimately having to settle for a share of the spoils after leading the contest at one point or another.

That result was enough for Fener to sneak into the last-16 play-offs, as they finished 24th in the group, and continental competition remains on their agenda for now. Back home, they are sat second in the Super Lig table, six points adrift of arch-rivals Galatasaray.

They will be back in action against Rizespor on Sunday, with that fixture now dominating Mourinho’s thoughts. He wants his players to be fresh for said encounter, but has seen Fenerbahce’s hotel in Denmark placed in close proximity to noisy church bells and chattering flocks of birds.

After posting "let us sleep please we have another match Sunday”" Mourinho – who eventually opted to go for a "walk in peace" - will be hoping that he has no more cause for complaint this weekend after seeing Turkish match officials incur his wrath on a regular basis this season.
