Touchdown in Milan! Pervis Estupinan lands in Italy for Rossoneri medical ahead of move from Brighton as new salary revealed

Estupinan met the crowd outside the airport with the words "Happy, happy, Forza Milan", as he prepares to undergo his medical with the Italian giants. The full-back is joining AC Milan from Brighton in a deal that could fetch £16million.

As is tradition in Italy - and as seen with Evan Ferguson's move to Roma - Estupinan was swarmed by fans and reporters after touching down in the fashion capital. He is set to replace Theo Hernandez at left-back for Milan, who has left for Al-Hilal.

Estupinan is set to earn a salary of around €2.5million (£2.1m) a year, and will be hoping to add some silverware to his collection with the Italian giants.

Milan's new addition will spend the night in a hotel, before making his move official and then flying out to Asia to meet his new team-mates. The squad have just faced Arsenal in a pre-season friendly in Singapore.
