WHAT HAPPENED?
The 2023/24 season hasn't been the easiest for Everton due to all the turmoil that has followed the club off the field. However, on the field, their team has performed exactly how one would expect from a Sean Dyche team, defensively astute. At the centre of defence has been Branthwaite, whose performances have rightly invited the attention of Premier League heavyweights.
Branthwaite has made 34 Premier League appearances this season for Dyche's side and has been a major part of their defence as they currently boast the second most clean sheets in the league this season (13), only behind title challengers, Arsenal.
WHAT NEXT FOR BRANTHWAITE?
The 21-year-old will be looking forward to Everton's last game of the season as they take on Arsenal, with a chance of raining on their parade as they look to win the Premier League title. He will also be hoping to impress Gareth Southgate enough to earn himself a spot on the England plane to Germany for the Euros.
