Nunez swapped Benfica for Liverpool in the summer of 2022 for a fee worth up to £85 million ($103m) but increasingly, it looks like he won't justify that huge fee. Despite that, Anfield Watch states the Uruguay international is still a 'prized asset' at Anfield and is valued at a whopping £85m.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Nunez has scored just four goals and provided four assists in 26 appearances for Liverpool this season, with manager Arne Slot handing the 25-year-old just 10 starts in all competitions. If he continues to be on the fringes at the Reds, a move elsewhere may be on the cards. And with his former Benfica coach Jorge Jesus now at Al-Hilal, a reunion with him is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Nunez, whose Liverpool contract runs until 2028, has scored 37 goals and notched 21 assists for the Merseyside outfit in 122 appearances in all competitions thus far.
