Jack Grealish set to be offered escape route out of Man City in £45m transfer

Grealish looks destined to leave Manchester City this summer after being left out of Pep Guardiola's squad for the Club World Cup. According to The Sun, Grealish is now being targeted by Serie A winners Napoli who have £45 million (€59m) to spend. The Italian side are also keen on Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho and must now decide between the two players.

A transfer to Napoli would seen Grealish link up with former Manchester City team-mate Kevin De Bruyne and ex-Manchester United star Scott McTominay. Napoli are said to prefer Grealish over Garnacho but know the young Argentine would represent a better investment.

Grealish managed just one Premier League goal and one assist for Manchester City in the 2024- 25 season.

Grealish has been keeping in shape with late night runs on holiday since the end of the season as he mulls over his future. The 29-year-old does have two years left on his current Manchester City contract but it would be no surprise if he did move on this summer.
