United play Arsenal this weekend in a game between two sides at opposite ends of the table. Amorim's side are 14th while the Gunners are second. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Amorim, though, admits that he does not expect to receive the same amount of patience as Arteta did at Arsenal, as the two sides prepare to go head-to-head once more. The Gunners are 13 points behind Liverpool in second and need a win, while United are 14 points behind the top four.

  • WHAT AMORIM SAID

Amorim told reporters: "I will not have the time Arteta had. I feel that. It's a different club, I think it's a different club. I think in that aspect the way Arteta dealt with that is an inspiration for everybody but I will not have the time like Arteta had."
