Frosinone president: "Inter are also interested in Palmisani? They have sent scouts"

Italian goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani's talent has not gone unnoticed by the country's biggest clubs. Juventus have already made a strong early move for the 2004-born player, who has also impressed for Italy Under-21s, but they are not alone.

That was confirmed by Frosinone president Maurizio Stirpe, who told Sky Sport that Inter are interested in the player when asked directly about the Nerazzurri, while ruling out any possible negotiations.

  • Inter and Juventus? They sent scouts

"Inter and Juventus are interested in Palmisani? I hear a lot of rumours, but in terms of actual, concrete requests, apart from the scouts who come to watch the matches there are none. People mistake that for interest from clubs, but beyond that there is nothing concrete."

  • How much does it cost

Giovanni Carnevali, Juventus chief executive, told the press that "yes, we like him", making it clear the club are ahead of their rivals. Juventus are also helped by their excellent long-standing relationship with Frosinone. The price could prove decisive, though, because owner Stirpe will not block a sale, even if he would prefer to delay it until the end of the season. He will not let his jewel go on the cheap. Negotiations over the fee start from today and it has already risen beyond €10 million.
