Christian Pulisic is on a tear! USMNT forward reaches career milestone with goal for AC Milan in dominant Europa League display against Slavia Prague

Pulisic lashed in the opening goal just after the half-hour mark to send Milan on their way to a comfortable lead in Czech Republic. He then went on to assist Rafael Leao for his team's third of the match.

Having scored in the first leg as Milan ran out 4-2 winners in San Siro and then grabbed the winning goal against Empoli in Serie A at the weekend, Pulisic has now hit the net in three consecutive matches for the first time in his career. The 25-year-old now has 11 goals to his name for Milan since joining from Chelsea last summer.

Pulisic's team-mate Ruben Loftus-Cheek also hit a rare milestone when he grabbed the Rossoneri's second goal in the last-16 tie. According to Opta, he is the first midfielder to have scored at least four goals in a single season in major European competitions for Milan since Brazilian icon Kaka did so in 2006-07, though he scored a whopping 10 that season.

After the European encounter, Pulisic will hope to make it four goals in a row when his side take on Hellas Verona in Serie A. He will then reunite with his fellow USMNT stars as they prepare for the CONCACAF Nations League semi-final clash against Jamaica.
