Wilson Odobert opened the scoring for the Lilywhites, bringing them level on aggregate, before James Madisson scored to give Postecoglou's side the lead. Peer Koopmeiners then scored to restore parity in the tie, only for Odobert to land the knockout blow late on.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Postecoglou said: "Big game coming up on Sunday, so we've got to prepare for that. My kids had their school concert tonight, so I want to know some feedback from that as well. My kids sang some Beatles songs, I'm big on The Beatles. I hope that it went well!"
