Saka, who had been sidelined for over three months due to a hamstring injury, made his much-anticipated return to action in the 66th minute of Arsenal's clash with Fulham on Tuesday, replacing teenage talent Ethan Nwaneri. Just seven minutes later, he made his presence felt, heading home from close range to extend Arsenal’s lead following Mikel Merino’s first-half goal. Although Rodrigo Muniz struck late for Fulham, Arsenal managed to hold on for a 2-1 win and three crucial points.

    WHAT HATHAWAY SAID

Following the final whistle, 'The Devil Wears Prada' and 'Interstellar' star Hathaway showed her appreciation for Saka’s performance by posting a selfie on Instagram. Dressed in Arsenal’s away jersey, the Hollywood actor captioned the image, "Welcome back #7," in a direct nod to Saka’s shirt number.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

This is not the first time Hathaway has showcased her love for Mikel Arteta’s side. Last season, a video of Hathaway celebrating Leandro Trossard’s goal against Wolves went viral, further solidifying her status as a passionate Gooner.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

While Arsenal secured an important win, the match saw several injury concerns for Mikel Arteta. Defender Gabriel Magalhães limped off in the first half, clutching his hamstring, raising doubts over his availability for upcoming fixtures. Adding to Arsenal’s woes, Jurrien Timber was forced off in the second half with a knee issue, further depleting Arteta’s defensive options. Meanwhile, Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori were absent from the matchday squad due to their own respective fitness problems.
