Aston Villa duo Alisha Lehmann and Douglas Luiz appear to have confirmed their reunion a year after breaking up over a reported calendar dispute.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The Aston Villa stars have both shared a photo of them embracing on their Instagram Stories, all but confirming that they are back together. Luiz initially shared the snap with a love heart emoji, before Lehmann reposted it to her story with love heart and red rose emojis.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Lehmann teased the reunion a few days ago when she posed for a photo with Luiz at a New Year's Eve party. The couple broke up in November 2022 after a year of dating, but after a year apart they appear ready to give things another go.

It was suggested that Lehmann and Luiz broke up in 2022 due to a difference in opinion about the launch of the WSL star's 2023 calendar. Lehmann recently released a 2024 calendar, but it looks like the couple have now put those differences aside.

With Villa not back in action until January 13 when they take on Everton in the FA Women's Cup, Lehmann has a little more time than her partner to enjoy the rekindling of their relationship.
