WHAT HAPPENED?
After Milan were put off by the strings attached to signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, which included an extra £13m ($16m) to his agent Kia Joorabchian on top of the £34m ($43m) release clause, Gazzettareports that Rossoneri now have a new plan. They hope to sign strikers Lukaku and Abraham for a total of €55m (£47m/$59m) this summer.

The report adds that Lukaku has a €43m ($46m) release clause at Chelsea but Milan are not prepared to go above the £25m ($32m) mark. And for Abraham, the Italian giants would look to secure his services for a fee in the region of £21m ($27m).
DID YOU KNOW?
Abraham, 26, is out of contract at Roma in 2026 and Lukaku, 31, also has two years left on his Chelsea deal. This season, the latter scored 21 goals in 47 games for Roma and the former managed just one goal in 12 matches in an injury-hit campaign.
