Prediction 1: Bournemouth vs Fulham: Cherries eye a big chance

  • Date: 04/10/2025
  • Kick-off time: 12.30 AM
  • Our tip: Bournemouth to win at odds of 1.90 with1xBet

Bournemouth’s response to losing some huge players this summer has been remarkable. They go into this game unbeaten in four, and they’ve only lost one league game up to now. Andoni Iraola’s side have drawn their last two, but showed real grit to secure a late point at Elland Road last time out.

Fulham, meanwhile, have been a bit of a mixed bag this season. They’re right in the middle of the table as they head down to the Vitality Stadium, but were beaten 3-1 by Aston Villa in their last game. The Cherries will sense a big opportunity to get back to winning ways.

Prediction 2: Man Utd vs Sunderland: United woes continue

  • Date: 04/10/25
  • Kick-off time: 7.30 PM
  • Our tip: Man Utd and Sunderland to draw at odds of 4.50 with 1xBet

In the past, the idea of Sunderland achieving anything at Old Trafford would have seemed absurd. However, the Black Cats are four points ahead of the Red Devils as they head to Manchester, and have a substantially better defensive record. We can see them holding their own against Ruben Amorim’s struggling outfit.

United were comfortably beaten by Brentford in their last fixture, going down 3-1, while Sunderland are now unbeaten in four matches, winning two. Regis Le Bris’ side will fancy their chances of a first win in M16 in over a decade. Ultimately, a draw seems like the most likely outcome.

Prediction 3: Arsenal vs West Ham: Gunners set for a comfortable win

  • Date: 04/10/25
  • Kick-off time: 7.30 PM
  • Our tip: Arsenal to win at odds of 1.22 with 1xBet

It’s second top vs second bottom in this one, and there’s a clear favourite for a reason. Mikel Arteta’s side have been strong this season, losing just once, while the Hammers have only one victory to their name in all competitions.

Nuno Espirito Santo did get a bit of joy out of his side after coming in to replace Graham Potter as they drew away at Everton. Still, the Toffees pose nowhere near as much of a threat as the Gunners, and the home side should be relatively comfortable in this one. We could see a fair few goals scored, too, given the visitors’ status as the leakiest defence in the division.

Prediction 4: Chelsea vs Liverpool: Tight clash at Stamford Bridge

  • Date: 04/10/25
  • Kick-off time: 10.00 PM
  • Our tip: Liverpool to win at odds of 2.37 with 1xBet

There are set to be some incredibly talented players out on the field as Chelsea host Liverpool this weekend, but neither side is in form. The Blues have been inconsistent and lost their last Premier League game, and the Reds have just lost two games in a row. This promises to be a very tight affair.

Enzo Maresca’s men scraped by Benfica in the Champions League in midweek, while Arne Slot was left frustrated after defeat to Galatasaray. Both sides will be eager to get back to winning ways in the league, and the visitors could just edge it. Clean sheets have been at a premium in games involving these two, so expect a goal or two.

Prediction 5: Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest: Magpies bounce back against struggling Forest

  • Date: 05/10/25
  • Kick-off time: 6.30 PM
  • Our tip: Newcastle to win at odds of 1.70 with 1xBet

Eddie Howe’s season hasn’t gone as planned. Losing Alexander Isak has, of course, had an effect, and they suffered a painful defeat to Arsenal over the weekend. Conceding two in injury time to lose after leading for so long must have been a bitter blow.

Yet, this week they’re up against a Forest side that haven’t won since the opening day - so they will fancy their chances. With home advantage, and Nick Woltemade finding his feet, the Magpies should come out on top in this one. The Tricky Trees have conceded 13 in their last six across all competitions, and Ange Postecoglou has a big job on his hands.

Conclusion

By the time this weekend is over, we could well see a new team at the top of the table. However, we think Liverpool will cling on for now.

We have not gone for any underdog picks this week, but there are some potential winners who are good value for bettors.

We’ve taken recent form into account in all competitions, as well as the current state of play at each club. Still, please remember to bet on the Premier League responsibly.
