WATCH: My GOTW - Ronaldo and Cristiano square off in hat-trick showdown

The UEFA Champions League has witnessed some of the great individual performances.

And a handful were capped with one of the game’s great achievements: the hat-trick.

Cristiano Ronaldo has hit seven of them in the UEFA Champions League – and he is the only man in the competition's history to grab three hat-tricks in a single UCL campaign.

But before the Portuguese, there once walked a man who made the name. Two-time World Footballer of the Year, Brazil international Ronaldo was the greatest of his generation.

And back in 2003, he earned a standing ovation from the Old Trafford crowd after waltzing into the Theatre of Dreams to annihilate the home-side with the most magnificent of hat-tricks – the pick of the bunch being his wicked, dipping strike from outside the box.

But was it better than Cristiano’s own dipper against Wolfsburg in 2016?

As we've done throughout the group stage of this season's Champions League with other classic strikes, Goal put Ronaldo and Cristiano’s goals to some keen observers, asking them to debate which was their Goal of the Week, brought to you by Nissan.

This time, Seb and Spencer FC of Hashtag United got together ahead of the quarter-finals to thrash out who holds the long-range supremacy in the Champions League. Catch their debate in the video above.
