Marseille's Europa League campaign continues to stall following a narrow 1-0 defeat to Sturm Graz in Austria. Despite dominating possession, the French side were undone by an early Oumar Diakite goal and failed to convert their territorial dominance into meaningful results.
Bournemouth head coach Marco Rose has described the opportunity to lead the club during their maiden European home fixture as a true "privilege" following a dominant display on the south coast. The Cherries continued their flawless start to life in the Europa League by securing a convincing victory that left the Vitality Stadium faithful dreaming of a deep run in the competition.
