Atletico Madrid take on Viking in the Champions League. Here’s how you can secure your tickets

Harry Kane’s pursuit of Champions League immortality was halted on Tuesday night as the Bayern Munich talisman failed to equal Cristiano Ronaldo’s long-standing scoring record. Despite entering the clash with Atletico Madrid on a hot streak of 10 consecutive European appearances with a goal, the England captain could not find the net at the Allianz Arena. It marks a rare moment of frustration for the forward, who recently celebrated his first Ballon d'Or win.

Barcelona have been handed a significant injury scare following their dominant Champions League display against Aston Villa on Tuesday night. Midfield general Rodri was forced off early, leaving Hansi Flick facing a nervous wait ahead of a crucial domestic showdown with Atletico Madrid this weekend.

Sunderland have entered the pursuit of Almeria midfielder Stefan Dzodic as Atletico Madrid step up their efforts to sign the highly rated 21-year-old prospect. The Serbian talent is protected by a €40 million (£33m/$45m) release clause in southern Spain and has also attracted interest from several other English clubs.
