Andoni Iraola has dismissed Jamie Carragher's suggestion that Liverpool are the primary challengers for the Premier League title this season. The manager insisted it is far too early for such discussions as he prepares his squad for a crucial clash against Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday.

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has weighed in on the growing uncertainty surrounding Alexis Mac Allister’s long-term future at Anfield. Despite the midfielder’s public admission that he wants to commit his future to the club, reports suggest a summer exit could be on the cards as part of a tactical overhaul.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has opened up on the tactical evolution taking place at Anfield, urging his team-mates to fully commit to Andoni Iraola’s high-risk, high-reward philosophy. The Dutch defender believes the squad is growing in confidence as they move away from the patient style of the previous regime toward a more aggressive, pressing identity.
