Weah & Drogba handed FIFA roles to tackle racism

Chelsea icon Didier Drogba and ex-AC Milan star George Weah have been named among a host of former players on a newly-formed anti-racism panel by FIFA. The idea behind the panel of ex-players is to bolster FIFA's efforts to tackle racism in the game. The group will help in developing anti-racism strategies, participate in educational programmes and contribute to reforms across football.

Loftus-Cheek recalled to England squad after six-year absence

Former Chelsea star Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been recalled to the England national team squad after Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton sustained an injury. Loftus-Cheek's last call-up came six years ago, but he ended up withdrawing from that March 2019 camp. He has not played for his country since making a substitute appearance against the United States in November 2018.

Nkunku completes Milan switch in deal worth €42m

Christopher Nkunku has officially joined AC Milan from Chelsea for a permanent fee of €42 million (£36.2m/$49m). The French forward has signed a five-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2030. This deal comes after a challenging and injury-ridden stint in West London, where Nkunku struggled to establish himself as a regular under Enzo Maresca.
