AC Milan remain in talks with Everton regarding a loan move for Gerard Deulofeu but are refusing to pay a fee for the former Barcelona winger, according to Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old attacker has been told by Toffees boss Ronald Koeman he is free to leave the club, but only on a temporary basis, after falling down the pecking order at Goodison Park.
And Milan are the frontrunners in the chase for Deulofeu's signature, though talks have stalled as a result of the Rossoneri's lack of flexibility over the asking price.
