PSV are in talks with NEC over Sami Ouaissa, Voetbalzone understands. The winger is open to a move to the reigning champions, although his club are holding out for a high fee.
Voetbal International report that Ouaissa had already reached a personal agreement with Feyenoord earlier in this transfer window, but the Rotterdam club must first sell Anis Hadj Moussa before they can do any business.
LOSC Lille also moved for the former Roda JC player recently, but Ouaissa would prefer to stay in the Netherlands. PSV now want to hijack the deal.
PSV are currently negotiating with NEC over the 21-year-old forward. Earlier this summer, Kodai Sano had already made the move from NEC to PSV.
That transfer caused plenty of irritation in Nijmegen. The club had agreed with Sano that he would still play in the two-legged tie against Olympiakos, but the Japanese player suddenly no longer wanted to play in Athens.
NEC blame PSV for that, so talks are moving slowly for now. Whether Ouaissa's transfer will go through in the short term therefore remains to be seen.
