Eriksen was close to Juventus deal


According to Calciomercato Christian Eriksen was a target for Juventus but their signing of Dejan Kulusevski spurred Inter into action.

The Bianconeri lost out to Inter in the race for the Danish playmaker after the Milan club made it celar they were prepared to pay for his services from Tottenham before his contract was up in June.

Antonio Conte's team had expected to sign Kulusevski in the summer but Juve moved in, incensing the San Siro side, says the report.

Beckham hoping to tempt Griezmann to Miami


David Beckham is planning an audacious bid for Barcelona striker Antione Griezmann, according to L'Equipe.

The former Man Utd man is the owner of Inter Miami and wants to make a splash with a huge signing as his new team start MLS play next season.

Beckham has floated moves for Barca team-mates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez before, and is now interested in Griezmann, who has a contract until 2024 and a €800m (£674m/$887m) release clause.

Locadia to swap Brighton for Cincinnati


Jurgen Locadia is the striker FC Cincinatti have been looking for the club believes.

The Brighton player has struggled in the Premier League, but the Ohio side think he can be a difference maker in MLS.

MLS Multiplex report that Cincinnati switched their attentions to Locadia after their interest in Gaston Pereiro fell through.

Piatti set for San Lorenzo return


Montreal Impact midfielder Ignacio PIatti is close to rejoining San Lorenzo in Argentina accroding to La Presse.

The MLS side wouldn't recieve any compensation says the report.

Piatti had previously refused to commit to the Impact when asked to do so by TVA.

Pizarro open to Inter Miami move


Rodolfo Pizarro is willing to move from Liga MX to MLS, but only if Inter Miami can meet his buy out clause.

The Mexico international is not for sale under other circumstances says C.F. Monterrey sporting director Dulio Davino as reported by Tom Marshall on Twitter.


Moyes still keen on Wague


West Ham boss David Moyes is still keen to sign Barcelona right-back Moussa Wague, despite missing out on him in January, as reported by the Sun on Sunday. 

The Hammers were hit by a late comeback by Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday, drawing 3-3 to leave themselves marooned in 18th place in the table.

Moyes was keen to capture the Barca man to bolster his team's chances of survival but hasn't given up hope of a summer move. 

A host of clubs chased Minamino before Liverpool pounced


Liverpool's Japan forward Takumi Minamino says other clubs from the Premier League and Bundesliga were interested in his signature before he signed for the Reds, as reported by the Star.

The former Red Bull Salzburg star signed for Jurgen Klopp's team in January after impressing during two Champions League outings against the European champions.

The Japan international had become one of Europe's most sought-after young players following his star performances for the Austrian side. 

Saints in for Celtic's Ntcham


Southampton are keen to arrange a summer transfer for Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham, as reported by the Sun.

The 23-year-old is still under contract at Celtic but could be priced at a sensible level in the summer. 

Saints may sell Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the summer to make space in their squad.

Blues rejected Rondon move


Chelsea rejected the chance to sign Dalian Yifang and Venezuela striker Salomon Rondon on transfer deadline day, as reported by The Telegraph.

The former West Brom and Newcastle player was keen on a move back to England but the Blues opted against a move for a player who left the country in 2019. 

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Tottenham to battle for Osimhen


Lille striker Victor Osimhen will be a hot property in the summer according to Le10 Sport.

Tottenham, Barcelona and Real Madrid all registerred interest this January, but were rejected.

All three will be back in the summer though, with Spurs slight favourites as a result of the relationship between manager Jose Mourinho and Luis Campo, sporting director of the French team.

Ozil decision scuppers Dani Olmo move


Mesut Ozil refused a move away from Arsenal this winter, which meant the Gunners couldn't sign Dani Olmo, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The Spanish playmaker moved from Dinamo Zagreb to RB Leipzig instead, frustrating Gunners' manager Mikel Arteta.

The Spaniard was happy to sign defensive cover, but wanted to add to his attacing options as well, says the report.

Tottenham and Sunderland see bids for Southend striker rejected


League One strugglers Southend United turned down bids from Sunderland and Tottenham for striker Charlie Kelman on deadline day.

The Echo says that the 18-year-old, who came through the ranks at the club, drew the attentions of the other teams after netting seven times this season.

Southend chairman Stephen Humphrys rejected the bid, prefering the striker stay with Sol Campbell's side who are second-bottom in England's third tier.

Milan line up summer move for Lyon full-back Kalulu


Milan are plotting a summer swoop for Lyon defender Pierre Kalulu - according to Calcio Mercato.

The 19-year-old has yet to agree on a new contract with the Ligue 1 outfit, meaning the Rossoneri could snap him up on a free transfer.

Kalulu is still waiting for his first senior appearance in a Lyon shirt, but is a regular in their reserve set up.

Man Utd move is a dream come true - Ighalo


Odion Ighalo has expressed his delight after sealing a switch to Manchester United on loan from Shanghai Shenhua, insisting his lifelong dream has become a reality.

Livingston star Dykes was never moving to Rangers - Holt


Livingston were in no danger of losing their star striker Lyndon Dykes despite interest from Rangers in dying stages of the January transfer window.

Dykes was a part of the Livingston team that remained fifth in the Scottish Premiership after a 1-0 victory over Motherwell.

Manager Gary Holt was never worried about losing this Scottish-Australian striker and even engaged in some R&R as the transfer window slammed shut.

“[Dykes] wasn’t going anywhere anyway so it wasn’t a problem," Holt told the Daily Record.

"As everyone saw, I was in my bath, quite comfortable, enjoying my bubbles."

Setien welcomes Neymar's Barca interest


Quique Setien declared Neymar's interest in a Camp Nou comeback to be good news as the Barcelona boss detailed his desire to keep Lionel Messi happy.

Brazil international Neymar attempted to engineer a return to his former employers last year and, though seemingly now fully committed to Paris Saint-Germain, his future could still lay in La Liga.
