Liverpool target Havertz will not disrespect Leverkusen with transfer talk


Kai Havertz was unwilling to risk ruining his time at Bayer Leverkusen by discussing speculation surrounding his future. 

Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Barcelona and Juventus are among the clubs to have been linked with a move for Germany international Havertz, who Leverkusen have made clear they will be unwilling to sell for anything less than €100million. 

The 20-year-old scored a double for the second week in succession in a 3-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, marking Peter Bosz's side's second win in the space of five days.

Inter interested in Barcelona defender Umtiti


Inter are open to signing Samuel Umtiti from Barcelona this summer, Sport reports.

The Catalan side need to make space in the squad and lighten their wage bill and have decided Umtiti is one they are willing to part ways with.

There has been talk of Barca including him in a deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, but the Nerazzurri could sign him for €30 million (£27m/$33m) in a separate deal.

'Grealish worth every penny of £80m price tag'


Jack Grealish is worth "every penny" of the £80 million ($97m) Aston Villa are demanding for him this summer, Alan Hutton says.

Manchester United are leading the race to land the 24-year-old, but they have been warned they will need to cough up a substantial fee to convince the club to let their captain leave three years before his contract expires.

Former team-mate Hutton believes Grealish would be right at home in a top Premier League team and that Villa are right to set the asking price high.

Marseille were said to be holding out for €90 million, but L'Equipe report they have dropped their demands to €40m (£36m/$44m).

Man City and Barcelona to make Cancelo and Semedo swap

Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo is set to join Barcelona in a swap deal that will see Nelson Semedo go the other way, Mundo Deportivo reports.

Semedo is wanted by several top teams and City hope to convince the Catalan side to part ways with him because Pep Guardiola is a big fan and has not been convinced by Cancelo.

Chiesa out of Inter's reach


Inter may have to give up on their pursuit of Federico Chiesa because Fiorentina's asking price is too high.

The 22-year-old winger is one of the San Siro side's top transfer targets, but Calciomercato says La Viola are unlikely to drop their €70 million (£63m/$76m) asking price, which may prove too high.

Higuain open to River Plate return


Gonzalo Higuain says he would be open to finishing his career at boyhood club River Plate.

The Argentine has been linked with a move to MLS in recent weeks as well, although he says he isn't rushing to leave Juventus.

Haiti star Nazon wants MLS move


Haitian star Duckens Nazon says he'd like to make the move to MLS.

Nazon has been a fixture for Haiti, scoring 19 goals in 42 caps, while playing in England, France, Scotland and Belgium on the club level.

"I would like to play in MLS because there are many Haitians there," Nazon told "There are a lot of Haitians in Miami, so Miami is a place where I would love to go play. Montreal is another place. I think if there is a good offer, I would be very interested in playing in MLS."

Bayern Munich made an inquiry over Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho before the coronavirus shutdown, ESPN reports.

Sancho is set to be a hot commodity on the transfer market, with Manchester United thought to be the favourites in the race to sign him.

Newcastle are considering a move for Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez, according to Bild.

The 24-year-old arrived from Atletico Madrid last summer for an eye-popping €80 million (£72m/$87m), but injuries and poor form have seen him start just nine of 38 competitive games this season.

Boosted by the funds from a proposed Saudi takeover, the Magpies could move for the France international.

Leicester leading chase for Lallana


Leicester City are leading the chase for Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, claims the Daily Star.

Lallana is set to leave Anfield on a free transfer this summer and a host of clubs, including West Ham, Everton, Arsenal and Crystal Palace, are all chasing his signature.

But the Foxes under Brendan Rodgers, who coached Lallana at Liverpool, are in front of the chasing pack.

PSG make €50m offer for Icardi


The Ligue 1 champions are keen to secure the on-loan striker permanently

PSG have offered Inter €50 million (£45m/$55m) plus €10m (£9m/$11m) in add-ons for striker Mauro Icardi, according to Sky Sports.

Icardi impressed on loan with PSG this season, scoring 20 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions after arriving in early September.

The 27-year-old's loan included a €70m (£63m/$76m) option to purchase, but PSG are keen to negotiate that price down.

Giggs explains how Solskajer overhauled Man Utd's transfers


Ryan Giggs has said that Ole Gunnar Solskaer's focus on recruiting good characters at Manchester Untied is paying off. 

Solskaer has brought in the likes of Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes, who have taken well to life with the Red Devils. 

But Giggs has claimed that off-field character has been just as important as on-field ability during Solskjaer's time in charge.

Jan Vertonghen appears likely to leave Tottenham this summer, according to ESPN.

The centre-back's contract in north London expires on June 30 and Spurs have been unwilling to meet his demands of a two-year deal on his current £70,000-a-week salary.

The 33-year-old has been at Tottenham since joining in 2012 from Ajax.

Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping an eye on Borussia Monchengladbach full-back Kaan Kurt, claims The Sun.

The 18-year-old has yet to make his senior debut for Gladbach, and has been featuring for the club's reserves this term.

Kurt, a Germany youth international, can feature as a right winger or as a full-back on the left or right side. 

Everton and Newcastle chase Lozano


Everton and Newcastle are keen on a move for Napoli forward Hirving Lozano, reports Corriere dello Sport.

Lozano has failed to live up to expectations after becoming Napoli's most expensive signing last summer when he joined from PSV.

Carlo Ancelotti, who signed the Mexico star at Napoli, is now in charge at Everton and is interested in a reunion.
