Inter, contract extension in sight for Carlos Augusto: the details

Carlos Augusto was key to Inter's victory in Bologna, but his contract expires in June 2028. Inter want to keep him, and the parties are set to meet in the coming days to move closer to an agreement on an extension. The Italian champions aim to tie the former Monza player down until 2031. 

Currently earning just over €2 million, Carlos Augusto is expected to receive close to €4 million in his new salary.
