WAG party! Coleen Rooney wants Victoria Beckham, Abbey Clancy & Alex Gerrard at 40th birthday bash for husband Wayne that has no 'budget limitations'

There has been plenty for the Rooneys to celebrate of late. Wayne may have seen his coaching career come off the rails, following flops at Birmingham and Plymouth, but Coleen saw her stock soar on the back of a runner-up finish in the 2024 edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

Wayne has since signed a deal to become a regular pundit on Match of the Day, while Coleen helped to arrange a £10 million ($13m) agreement with Disney+ that will deliver an ‘At Home With’ documentary series.

Eldest son Kai continues to make impressive progress in Manchester United’s academy system, with his famous father ready to toast a significant birthday. Coleen has big plans up her sleeve, with the partners of Wayne’s former team-mates being invited along for the ride.

A source has told Heat: "Coleen wants to go all out with the party – she’s not given herself any budget limitations. The plan is to have lots of celebrations, but she wants the centre piece to be a huge bash at their home – they have more than enough space, and this is just the kind of event she envisioned having when they were building the place.

"All of their close friends and family will be there, and she also wants to invite people who have had a big impact on Wayne’s career – which includes a lot of his former England team-mates and their wives from back in the day. She doesn’t get to see some of them as much these days, so it would also be a like mini Baden-Baden [2006 World Cup] reunion with the likes of Alex Gerrard, Abbey Clancy, Toni Terry, Louise Owen and even Victoria Beckham if she can make it. Coleen knows those women still love to party and it will be lots of fun."

Said party will take place at the Rooneys sprawling £20m ($27m) mansion, which boasts a home cinema, indoor swimming pool, a stable and bar area. Heat’s insider added: "Coleen will also get the best caterers in to serve Wayne’s favourite food and drink, and she is even thinking of having a funfair in the grounds. She is preparing to throw some serious money at this to make it a night to remember and celebrate everything Wayne has achieved in his personal and professional lives."

Coleen’s earning potential is said to have overtaken Wayne’s, with the mother of four stepping out of her husband’s shadow. It is being claimed that they could go on to rival the Kardashians in the reality TV stakes.
