VIDEO: Mason Greenwood goes wild with Marseille team-mates in dressing room after last-gasp win over Lyon takes Roberto De Zerbi's side to Ligue 1 summit
Mason Greenwood celebrated wildly alongside his Marseille team-mates after a dramatic win over Lyon took them top of the Ligue 1 table.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side remain unbeaten in the French top flight, with 13 points taken from five fixtures. That return sees them sat level with Monaco and defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in what is shaping up to be a thrilling title race.
Marseille appeared to have thrown away two points when Rayan Cherki levelled in the 93rd minute, but Jonathan Rowe was to have the final word as he struck two minutes later and wrapped up a 3-2 win. There were wild celebrations in the dressing room afterwards, with Greenwood seen banging his fist on a table.
WHAT NEXT FOR MARSEILLE?
Marseille have had a player sent off in their last two games – which is a habit that they need to shake in order to make life a little easier for themselves. They will be back in action next weekend when taking in a trip to Strasbourg.
