VIDEO: Ella Toone and Alessia Russo announce new podcast together with Lionesses team-mates Georgia Stanway and Chloe Kelly making cameos in hilarious announcement video

The former Manchester United team-mates have announced they are launching the 'Tooney and Russo Show' with BBC Sounds and YouTube, and it begins on Monday (April 29). To unveil the podcast, they got the help of BBC News presenter Clive Myrie, ex-England defender Alex Scott, and Vick Hope, among others; while fellow England stars Stanway and Kelly made humorous cameos, too.

Toone began the teaser clip with a phone call, saying: "Hello nan. It's Ella. I've got some big news."

Later in the video, Bayern Munich star Stanway quips: "Someone's given them two a podcast? Are you joking?"

And Manchester City ace Kelly added: "What? Who's reffing that?"

According to the BBC, Russo, now at Arsenal, and Toone, still at United, will give an 'exclusive' peek into Sarina Wiegman's England camp like never before. In episode one, the podcast delves into how Toone and Russo became 'best friends', their hobbies, and more.

Episode 1 and 2 of the podcast will be available on April 29, with new episodes dropping weekly from then onwards. Before then, Toone's United take on Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, whereas Russo's Arsenal face Everton earlier on that day.
