Guler made a sensational move to the Spanish capital from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2023, with Real reportedly beating Barcelona to his signature. The highly rated youngster has struggled through the start of his career with the Los Blancos as he has found it difficult to break into Carlo Ancelotti's side and has also suffered through multiple injury issues. He will feel relived to have finally got off the mark, and managed to do so in style, calmly rounding the goalkeeper after being played through before finishing calmly to round off a 4-0 win for Real over Celta.

With his superb goal against Celta Vigo, Guler has become the youngest Turkish player to score in La Liga history at the age of 19 years and 14 days, as per OptaJose. He has also become the sixth youngest goalscorer for Real Madrid in the competition in the 21st century.

Next up for the Turkish midfielder and Real Madrid will be their visit to El Sadar Stadium as they take on Osasuna in their next La Liga game on Saturday, March 16. Despite the goal, it is unlikely that Guler will get the nod from Ancelotti to start the game ahead of his competition.
