Tyler Adams and Bournemouth stunned second-place Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday, as the U.S. international recorded two assists en route to a 5-0 battering of Nuno Espirito Santos' side.

Adams assisted the opening goal scored by Justin Kluivert just nine minutes into the match, before recording his second on their third goal, scored by Dango Ouattara - who recorded a hat-trick on the day, too.

The Cherries are now 11 matches unbeaten in the league, running a stunning streak of form under manager Andoni Iraola throughout December and January.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Adams has had a sensational run of form for Bournemouth over the past few weeks, with three-straight starts across all competitions. In those three matches, he has helped Bournemouth to a 5-1 battering of West Brom in the FA Cup, a brilliant 2-2 draw against Chelsea and now, a stunning victory over Nottingham Forest.

The U.S. international dealt with some injury issues through the first half of the campaign but now appears to be full-strength, and as a result, is playing spectacularly for Iraola.

On Saturday, in addition to his two assists, he completed 81 percent of his passes and registered 44 touches on the ball while also winning five of six attempted ground duels.
