USMNT star Tyler Adams pays tribute to hometown support after stellar Bournemouth performance

Tyler Adams, the 25-year-old midfielder from Wappingers Falls, N.Y., delivered an impressive performance in AFC Bournemouth's 2-2 draw over Tottenham. Following the match, Adams took to social media to express his gratitude to his hometown supporters for their unwavering support for both him and Bournemouth. The USMNT star thanked the fans, including his parents, and the fans responded with many praising the midfielder’s ethic and performances.

“What’s up everyone at the Newburgh Brewery, this is Tyler Adams from AFC Bournemouth and I wanted to thank you all so much for your support. Special shoutout to Paul and Dave for all the development that you guys have done for the fan club,” Adams said on the PLinUSA Instagram page.

Adams' return to full fitness and impressive form has been a significant boost for both AFC Bournemouth and the US Men's National Team. Since returning from his back injury, Adams has played a crucial role in the team's rise up the league table as they’ve lost just five games out of the 18 that the USMNT midfielder has featured in since his recovery. That includes wins over Manchester United, Tottenham, Manchester City and Newcastle United amongst others.

After Matchweek 28, Bournemouth and Tyler Adams sit ninth in the league table, just three points behind fifth-place Manchester City. They face Brentford next at Vitality Stadium in the league before hosting the Cityzens in the FA Cup quarterfinals on March 15 and March 30, respectively.
