WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Alexander-Arnold injured his knee during Liverpool's 2-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup last Sunday. After the match, he underwent scans which revealed that he had a minor tear in the lateral ligament. Jurgen Klopp's assistant Pep Lijnders later confirmed that the player had been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/liverpool-lose-another-talisman-trent-alexander-arnold-ruled-out-torn-knee-ligament-misery-jurgen-klopp/blt8bc7aebfef709743#cs700b8014eaf91956" target="_blank">ruled out of action for at least three weeks</a>.</p>

<p>Up until the Arsenal clash, the 25-year-old was enjoying a rich vein of form, having assisted nine times in 25 matches across all competitions for his club this season. He has also scored two goals, both of which came in the Premier League.</p>
