Federation president Malagò: “We will continue to work alongside UEFA and the other European federations to promote an idea of football based on merit, solidarity, sustainability and the central role of the fans.”

The Italian Football Federation have decided to withdraw their support for Gianni Infantino's candidacy in the FIFA presidential elections scheduled for March 2027.


The decision is meant to set out the FIGC's position clearly and transparently, in full agreement with UEFA and its president Aleksander Čeferin, on the recent initiatives pushed by the FIFA president on governance and the development of international competitions.
