'Talented player with a big heart!' - Man Utd fans uncover Hugo Ekitike comments on Marcus Rashford amid Red Devils' interest in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker

Manchester United are said to be on the hunt for a striker this summer amid Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee's struggles for form in front of goal. The Red Devils have shown interest in a whole host of strikers like Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Liam Delap. However, Ruben Amorim and co. now seem to have shifted their focus towards Eintracht Frankfurt's hitman Ekitike.

Red Devils fans believe that Rashford, who himself is unhappy at Old Trafford after his fallout with Amorim, could help United sign Ekitike this summer after they uncovered an old post on X from 2021. The post saw the Frenchman full of praise for the England international after he was named in TIME magazine's list of The Next 100 Most Influential People.

On X, Ekitike praised Rashford and wrote: "Marcus Rashford, a talented player and also a man with a big heart who works for the most deprived children and families in England with his association!"

The French striker has a price tag of €100million (£85m/$116m) placed on him by Eintracht Frankfurt since earlier this year. Ekitike is also being chased by Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool also said to be in the race.
