THE BIGGER PICTURE
Saudi clubs are willing to try again for the Egypt international, and with his contract expiring next summer, Liverpool may be more receptive to an offer. Alisson has also been earmarked as a potential target, although he is protected by a contract that runs until 2027. Casemiro and Raphael Varane at Manchester United are also being eyed for potential moves, with the latter announcing his exit from Old Trafford.
Liverpool's final game of the Premier League season comes against Wolves, although there is nothing for the Reds to play for but pride in Jurgen Klopp's final game in charge. They have already secured a third-placed finish.
