    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Gunners will spend the week in Marbella in a bid to "hit the ground running ahead of the new season," according to the Evening Standard. Players are urged to work hard but can also spend time with their families, with Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey expected to join the group shortly. It's a move Arteta has employed before, albeit with the whole squad involved, notably in the middle of last season when they flew out to Dubai for a training camp.
