Modric started for the first time this season, and was joined by Kroos shortly after the break — a game-changing substitution that was enough for Carlo Ancelotti's side to complete a memorable comeback win.

Dani Carvajal rattled one off the woodwork of his own. But Bellingham eventually provided the winner, capitalising on a rare mistake from Soria to bury the winner five minutes into second half stoppage time.
