Frenchman hopes he will be fit
WHAT HAPPENED?
The French international sustained a stress injury to his left foot in Madrid's 2-1 win over Bayern Munich last week, casting doubt on if he would make the final against Dortmund on June 1. However, the 24-year-old seems optimistic he will be ready for that showdown at Wembley.

WHAT AURELIEN TCHOUAMENI SAID
The defensive midfielder, who turned up on crutches to Madrid's La Liga title celebrations over the weekend, told Spanish publication Marca: "I think I'll make it to the final. I will be ready."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Reports in Spain suggested the former Monaco man, who joined Madrid for an initial £68.8 million ($86m) in 2022, had a 20% chance of making the Champions League final. If he isn't fit, that will be a big loss for Madrid, who are bidding to win a record-extending 15th title in this competition.
