  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Pogba mutually parted ways with Juventus last month after having only played 12 games for the Serie A side in over two years, partially due to his doping ban. The Frenchman has seen his ban reduced by the Court of Sports Arbitration (CAS) and is now looking for a new club as he prepares for his return to action.

    Pogba was linked with Brazilian side Corinthians over a potential move with reports earlier this week having suggest that a Brazilian escort agency, Fatal Model, approached the Serie A side to pay them close to £500,000 per month in Pogba's wages to facilitate the transfer.

    As per journalist Lucas Sposito, Pogba is open to making the move Corinthians and the two parties are said to be negotiating wages. However, the Serie A side are not open to accepting Fatal Model's offer as they do not want to their club's image linked to such company.

    WHAT NEXT FOR POGBA?

    The French midfielder will be allowed to start training with his new side at the start of the new year but will only return to action in March. While, Corinthians have rejected Fatal Model's offer, they are said to have another investor lined up to try and secure the Pogba deal soon, or else they may have to pull out of the deal.
